Responsibilities

  • Write and maintain firmware for ESP32 and STM32 based products in C/C++.
  • Bring up custom PCBs: peripherals, power rails, motor drivers and displays.
  • Integrate 4G LTE (Quectel) and MQTT telemetry against our own cloud.
  • Design for the field — watchdogs, OTA updates, brown-out and recovery paths.
  • Work with the hardware team on schematic and layout review before fabrication.
  • Debug returned units and turn field failures into regression tests.

Requirements & qualifications

  • Strong C or C++ on resource-constrained microcontrollers.
  • Hands-on bring-up experience with I2C, SPI, UART and ADC peripherals.
  • Comfortable with an oscilloscope and a logic analyser, not just a debugger.
  • Familiarity with FreeRTOS or a comparable RTOS.
  • Git, and the discipline to write firmware someone else can maintain.
  • Bonus: OTA update design, battery management, or motor control experience.

Why join us

  • Work on machines deployed with the Indian Army, Tata, ITC and state governments.
  • Hardware, firmware, AI and cloud under one roof — move across them as the problem needs.
  • Named inventorship on patents you contribute to.
  • A five-day week, and a workshop you can actually get bench time in.
  • Direct access to the founders on technical decisions.

Why engineers stay

No perks theatre. These are the things people here actually say matter.

Own the whole stack

Schematic to cloud dashboard. Nothing important is outsourced, so nothing important is off-limits to you.

A real hardware lab

Bench supplies, scopes, 3D printing, reflow and a workshop at Boral. Prototype on Monday, field-test on Friday.

Work that gets deployed

Defence, government and enterprise installations running unattended. Your code has to survive contact with the real world.

Patents and publications

We file what we invent and publish what we learn. Named inventorship, not a mention in the acknowledgements.

Small team, wide scope

An 18-person team means no ticket queue between you and a decision, and no waiting a quarter to ship.

Bootstrapped and steady

Funded by customers, not runway. Priorities are set by what ships, not by the next raise.

India and the US

A Kolkata HQ and a Michigan branch, with exposure to both markets and the chance to work across them.

Learning budget and time

Components, courses and conference tickets for anything that makes you better at the work.
