Aeonix builds electronics and software for the Indian Army, three Pollution Control Boards and other government departments, from a Kolkata team that designs its own circuit boards, firmware and apps. Government work comes with tenders, audits and security requirements, and it is where most of our deployments run.
We hold Govt OEM status. Our hardware is in daily use with the Indian Army, with the West Bengal, Sikkim and Central Pollution Control Boards, and with departments of the Government of West Bengal.
Defence: surveillance and secure communication
Our 4G compact surveillance camera is deployed with the Indian Army, and so is an AI feedback kiosk we built. The surveillance suite (the camera, a remote audio monitoring device and an anti-spy device for phones) runs on our own PCBs with Quectel 4G LTE modules, encrypted communication and multi-day battery life. Because we own the board design, the form factor, radio and firmware can be adapted to a specific deployment.
Government infrastructure that survives public use
More than 500 IoT vending machines for cloth bags, compostable bags and sanitary pads are deployed for the West Bengal, Sikkim and Central Pollution Control Boards, the Animal Resources Development Department of West Bengal and government schools. Each one reports to a central dashboard, so a department sees stock, faults and usage without sending anyone to check.
At Gangasagar Mela we ran AI sanitation monitoring for the Mela administration, processing camera feeds at the edge where 4G could not be relied on. For WEBEL we built an AI overhead document scanner for government digitisation.
