Arijit co-founded Aeonix in 2020, out of Sparklers — the robotics and image-processing collective the founding team had been running since 2018. He leads the engineering and commercial side of the company: what gets built, what gets shipped, and who it ships to. In the six years since, that has meant taking Aeonix from its first production board to registered Government OEM status with the West Bengal Pollution Control Board, and on to Indian Army deployment, AI sanitation monitoring at Gangasagar Mela, and more than 500 vending machines running in the field across three pollution control boards. He also co-founded iAvatars LLC, the group's Michigan company, working on emotional AI. He writes for the engineering press and speaks on embedded systems and applied AI.

Ayan co-founded Aeonix in 2020 with Arijit Das, after the Sparklers years spent on robotics, AI and image-processing projects. His grounding is research, and it shows in how the company works. Aeonix's published record runs to seven peer-reviewed papers — deep learning for industrial metrology and medical imaging in Springer's Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering, graph-theoretic genome sequence comparison in Genomics and Gene, and collaborative data governance at CDVE — alongside a granted Indian patent for a deep-learning multilingual OCR system with fingerprint-lock security, No. 581267, granted 26 February 2025. It is the reason Aeonix trains its own models rather than buying them in.
