Aeonix designs and builds robots in Kolkata: the mechanics, the electronics, the navigation software and the AI that runs on them. Our robots work in restaurants, hotels, stadiums and on university campuses, and we support them ourselves after they ship.
Our service robot, Misti, navigates busy dining rooms using LiDAR-based SLAM. Our autonomous drones run object detection on edge hardware for Tata Telecommunications projects and university campuses. In 2025, a miniature Tata Curve car we built carried the toss coin onto the field at every Indian Premier League stadium.
What we deliver
- Autonomous service robots
- Motion control & actuators
- SLAM-based navigation
- Sensor fusion & obstacle avoidance
- Custom robotics platforms
- Industrial & service automation
Misti: an autonomous service robot built for Indian hospitality
Imported service robots cost ₹15–30 lakh a unit, are not designed for Indian venues and come with no local support. Misti is our answer: a service robot engineered for Indian restaurants, hotels and corporate dining at a viable price, built and supported in Kolkata.
Staff load an order, Misti drives to the table, the guest takes their food, and the robot returns to the loading station. It maps the venue with LiDAR-based SLAM, detects and avoids obstacles in real time, and stops safely when someone steps into its path. Two large drive wheels and four omnidirectional castors keep it stable at full payload. It can speak Indian languages and English, and its touch interface needs no technical training. No changes to the venue are needed.
Autonomous drones and aerial computer vision
Our AI drone platform flies predefined zones using GPS/GNSS, captures live video and runs object detection and tracking on edge compute, streaming results to a real-time dashboard. Combined with ground-based vision systems, it gives event and campus operators live aerial intelligence instead of slow manual patrols. It has been deployed on Tata Telecommunications projects, on university campuses and at live events.
Robotics for live events, spaces and classrooms
For Tata IPL 2025 we built a miniature Tata Curve car that carried the toss coin onto the field at every stadium. For experience centres and offices we build motion-responsive kinetic walls driven by actuators and servo systems. For schools and STEM labs we build a quadruped robotics kit that students assemble, program and control themselves.
