Gesture-Based Gaming System for Live Events

Walk up, move and play: a touchless computer vision game that reads gestures in under 100 ms, built for IPL crowds and brand activations.

Computer Vision Interactive Gesture-Based Gaming System

Overview

The Aeonix gesture gaming system turns a camera and a big screen into a touchless game. Players swing, bowl or wave in front of the screen, and computer vision models translate their movements into game input in real time, with no controller, wearable or calibration step.

It was built for live events, where footfall is high, lighting changes through the day and every visitor has to be able to play straight away. The system has been deployed at Tata IPL, in Kolkata Knight Riders engagement zones and at TCS corporate events, and we build custom games on it for brand activations.

FAQ

Do players need to hold a controller or wear anything?

No. The cameras track body movement directly, so players just step up and move.

Where has it been used?

At Tata IPL, in Kolkata Knight Riders engagement zones, at TCS corporate events and at brand activations.

Can you build a game for our event?

Yes. The game logic is custom, so we design the gameplay and visuals around your brand or sport.

Does it need an internet connection to play?

No. Gesture recognition runs on edge hardware at the venue, so gameplay does not wait on the cloud.
